Sil Malki is a Director of Curtis Partnership and responsible for the strategic growth and operational development of the property recruitment team for REITs, private landlords, retailers, not-for-profit and other property and non-property related businesses. She works across retail, commercial and industrial property asset classes in securing the brightest talent for her client organisations.
Sil grew up in Sydney and is an avid sport fan and coffee addict. In her spare time she enjoys quality time with her family and a good Netflix binge.
Derek Chia is a Principal Consultant at Curtis Partnership who is responsible for candidate & client management in Finance and Accounting roles as well as in Sales, Marketing & Operations positions. Derek actively engages with our talent pool to ensure our candidates are kept up to date with new career opportunities. Derek prides himself in providing a high level of service and transparency to build rapport and trust with all stakeholders.
Before joining Curtis Partnership, Derek spent over 6 years as an Accountant in a mid-tier practice. The exposure he gained from consulting to businesses across a variety of industries ensures that he has the skills to understand the needs, provide solutions and deliver results for our diverse group of clients.
Outside recruitment, Derek enjoys soccer, tennis and travelling.
Monique Forsberg specialises in Property & Valuations recruitment across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Monique has strong experience across Valuations, Development & Project Management, Asset Management, Property Management, Facilities Management, Leasing & Lease Administration recruitment. She also partners with her colleagues to service the wider teams (Sales, Marketing & Operations, Technology, Finance & Accounting) for her clients.
Before joining Curtis Partnership, Monique worked as a Real Estate Agent in Vancouver, Canada. Her experience paired with her Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, allows Monique to make long-lasting connections and problem solve while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
Monique enjoys making pasta from scratch, perusing markets and travelling.
Michael Irwin is a Recruitment Manager at Curtis Partnership and is responsible for candidate and client management within the Property and Sales, Marketing & Operations teams.

Before joining Curtis Partnership, Michael worked as a Commercial Property Solicitor in Belfast, Northern Ireland. His experience in the legal profession ensures Michael is detail oriented and methodical in his approach to recruitment.
