The Opportunity:

Our client, an AFR Top 100 accounting firm, is seeking a senior accountant who's looking for that next step or an experienced supervisor in their Sydney CBD office. A great opportunity to gain exposure to large corporate clients, delivering taxation, accounting, and business advisory services within a mid-tier firm.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant or in a supervisory role within a public practice firm
• CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and build strong client relationships
• Experience supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members (highly desirable)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review financial statements for complex groups, large private entities, and HNW clients
• Review BAS, IAS, payroll tax, FBT and income tax returns, ensuring high-quality work from junior staff
• Manage complex reconciliations, consolidations and tax provisions, providing technical guidance
• Deliver practical tax and business advice to corporate clients and HNW families
• Research and resolve complex tax and structuring issues with compliant, commercial outcomes
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, managing workflow and technical development
