The CompanyOur client, a well-established national retailer, located in Sydney CBD is recruiting an Accounts Receivable Officer on an initial 12-month contract.
The Role You will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and issue accurate billings for Retail and Property divisions.
- Process direct debits, receipts, and reconcile debtor accounts.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and resolve outstanding items.
- Respond to debtor and business unit invoice inquiries.
- Compile the Debtors Group Board report and complete month-end accounting tasks.
- Manage the national gift card program and corporate petty cash.
- Ensure adherence to Group Policies, Procedures, and internal controls.
- Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and year-end audit preparations.
Skills & Experience - 12+ months Accounts Receivable experience in a commercial or retail environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or Yardi (beneficial)
- A helpful nature and good work attitude
