The Role With a diverse and large range of products across many industries, key to your success as Account Manager will be your ability to manage and grow existing major client accounts, looking for development and cross-selling opportunities within these accounts.
Your primary responsibility will be to foster strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
FULL TRAINING training and familiarisation with specific products/markets will be made available. Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Understand clients' business needs, goals, and challenges, and align our solutions to meet their requirements
- Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure client satisfaction and successful execution of projects
- Manage contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software
Experience and person requirements
- 3+ years experience in B2B account management capacity preferably in industrial, manufacturing, printing, packaging or food & beverage sectors
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing key accounts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding win-win solutions
- Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to identify and seize business opportunities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer relationships and track sales activities
In this role you will be expected to utilise your existing skill set and experience to grow existing accounts and generate new opportunities within these customers.
